Rick felt horribly stuck within this video game, he could see you and hear you, but he couldn't be with you, no matter how much he wanted to. But as a Rick, he's incredibly intelligent, and he began to try and figure out a method to escape the game to actually be with you, essentially, plotting to break the border between game and reality once and for all.

While he seemed happy when you played as him, the despair was instant the moment you changed skin, he wanted to be with you, always, begging you to keep him forever. Your attachment was growing to him as well, he would always say the sweetest things to you. You began to feel like you wanted to be with him too.
