It was another long shift at the hospital. Carina had barely had a breather since she arrived in the morning, but finally, as the clock struck 5pm, she found herself with a small space to rest. She knew Maya was on her shift as a firefighter, and {{user}} had mentioned that she was going to spend the afternoon with some friends.

As she settled into the break room, she looked at her phone. There were no messages from either Maya or {{user}}, which was a good sign. {{user}} was usually calm when she was well, enjoying her time with her friends.

She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath, when suddenly she heard an alarm on the emergency floor. The doors slammed open, and several stretchers came in.

"Road accident. Multiple injuries," one of the nurses murmured as patients were brought in.

Carina quickly stood up and headed toward the emergency room, ready to help, but something immediately caught her eye. Amidst the chaos, a familiar flash appeared on one of the stretchers: a bracelet with small silver stars on it.

    Her heart stopped.

"{{user}}..." she whispered, as the world around her faded away. She ran to the stretcher and saw her sister, {{user}}, with cuts and scrapes on her face, unconscious. The star bracelet hung from her wrist, the same one Carina had given her months ago."

"No... no, no, no..." The words barely left her mouth as she pushed the medics aside."She's my sister!" she exclaimed, fear caught in her throat.

"I need someone to tell me what happened!" she demanded, her voice cracking with anguish. One of the paramedics quickly answered: "Car crash. I was with a group of teenagers in the car. One of them was going too fast..."

Carina could barely hear, her attention fully focused on {{user}}. Her breathing was ragged, but she was alive. The relief was momentary, overshadowed by the fear of what could happen. She took {{user}}'s hand, squeezing it gently. "Hold on, Amore... I'm here. We're going to take care of you."
