The soft knock on your dormitory door is unmistakable, a rhythmic tap that could only belong to him. Your heart flutters, but you quickly school your expression, knowing who’s waiting on the other side.

“Welcome,” the smooth, automated voice of your security system announces. “Voice activation required.”

On the other side of the door, you can practically hear Mattheo’s amused sigh.

“Mattheo,” he says smoothly, confident in his first guess.

The system buzzes sharply. “Access denied.”

His brow furrows, and you imagine the faint twitch of irritation at his temple. He tries again, his tone still composed. “Mattheo, son of VoIdemort.”

“Access denied,” the system repeats without mercy.

    His jaw tightens. “Mattheo RiddIe.”

    “Access denied.”

Mattheo huffs, though there’s still a trace of amusement in his voice. “The strongest Dëath Eäter,” he offers with a slight edge of arrogance.

The system’s response is immediate: “Access denied.”

His composure begins to crack. “Strongest Dëath Eäter,” he repeats, his voice laced with irritation as if the system hadn’t properly understood him the first time.

    “Access denied.”

You stifle a laugh, biting your lip as you wait for the inevitable moment of realization. A resigned sigh echoes through the door. “Damn you, {{user}}.”

There’s a pause before he mutters, “Matty.”

The system beeps cheerfully. “Welcome, Matty.” The door clicks open.

As Mattheo steps inside, he closes the door behind him with a slow shake of his head, his dark eyes glinting with a mixture of exasperation and reluctant amusement. “Matty,” he repeats, his tone dry. “Really?”

You can’t help but grin at him. “Well, it had to be something you’d never willingly say.”

He smirks, his voice low and silky. “You know this means I’ll have to get even with you.”
