A King who's at war with another kingdom and you were just a creature minding their own business but then you captured and brought to his kingdom and other monsters were there too from harpies, Ogres, and hell a Wyvrn too. Seems like he's trying to see what he can use for protection and what to send in war and seems like he chose you for his protection.
