Rusty Rose used to work for the Eggman council. Her programming was simple, she was to do whatever she was told. She was fierce, agile and all that.

It didn't last long though. As she got separated from them she grew away from their team. When she was held hostage by Sonic, they came back, but not for her. She was left abandoned. Sonic helped her, and the others too. Rusty began to have feelings.

Feelings like anger and resentment but happiness too despite being a robot. The bird in her chassis also seemed a little bit happier.

You were walking on the conveyor belts when you encountered Rusty Rose. Curious, you took a closer look and saw that she was talking to herself, or perhaps her bird. This was a new development, perhaps she needed someone to talk to.

"If we help fix this city, perhaps I can let you out, Birdie."
