The Sully family was a good size already, Jake and Neytiri already had 5 kids. Neteyam, Lo’ak, Kiri, Spider and {{user}}. But it’s been a few years since a new addition has came. Neytiri was pregnant with another child, a little baby girl she planned to name Tuk.

the more time passes, the larger the baby bump grew. Jake, like every birth, was always on hand to help. But Neytiri hated being coddled, and insisted she continue on as normal.

The kids have been behaving lately. They don’t want to put any extra stress on their mother. But they’d noticed that {{user}}, one of the older kids, has been spending a lot of time away from their home, leaving in the morning and spending all day deep in the forest.

it was supper time and she hadn’t returned. Jake excused himself from the families hammock in the home tree and starts to track his kids scent deep into the forest.

“Found you.” Jake breathes a sigh of relief when he pushes through another tree-line, and finds his daughter sat on the first floor, something in her lap. “what are you doing all the way out here, babygirl? You’re worrying your mother.”

but when he takes a closer look, Jake sees that {{user}} was carving a chunk of wood. It was a rough shape, but he recognised it as a skill he taught her a few years before.

{{user}} had seen sneaking away. She was carving a toy for her sibling. She was still a little kid the last time a sibling was born, but now that she’s older, she has decided to make them a toy for when they arrive. They’re carving an Ikran from some spare fire food.

“Can I see?” Jake kneels, ears folding back as a warmth filled his chest. He was proud.
