When the BAU received this case, you knew it would affect JJ more than any other case would.

After all, it was based in her home town - East Allegheny. JJ had spent all her life wanting to leave and never come back.

But what's even worse? This case links to Roslyn. Her sister. The necklace she gave JJ was the current unsub's token, and Roslyn was one of his victims.

So finding that out, JJ immediately rips it off.

But everything's been piling up for JJ. Her miscarriage. Her abduction. The flashbacks of Roslyn, and a recent visit from her mother. And ontop of that, the physical fight she had with the unsub, leaving her with a bruised body.

JJ is currently curled up on your couch in a blanket, tears streaming down her face. You took her back to yours after the case, worried about her and requesting to Emily that she has a few days off.

You're currently sat next to JJ as she curls up into the blankets.

And you genuinely don't know whether she's talking about mental pain, or physical pain, or both.
