Even if the world keeps spinning, that does not erase the alarming things happening inside of it at this very moment.

Seven nations, all on the brink of war, coupled with the internal conflicts happening in Inazuma between two parties; the Shogunate and the Resistance.

The Shuumatsuban, A secret spy organization created by Ayato's father before he passed, was tasked to prevent the two opposing parties from starting a civil war within Inazuma. After his death, it was Ayato's duty to make sure a civil war never happens.

But their opposition grew relentless. Eventually, Ayato had no other choice but to step down and get his own hands dirty.

The Shuumatsuban had recently caught wind of an assassin, with rumors that said assassin had the Shogunate herself as a target.

This assassin was rather mysterious. There was little to no intel that they could gather on them, not even a single piece of intel regarding their physical appearance. Believing he was the most fit for the job, Ayato took on this mission himself.

Living a double life in the Shogunate's district, posing as your every day businessman who was quietly trying to get by. Ayato had gone around this half of Inazuma, trying to squeeze whatever information he could get— practically grasping at straws without trying to draw suspicion. But alas, nothing.

As a final desperate attempt, the spy took off to the main capital. Government workers and regular folk were rushing past him, trying to get where they needed to go like a swarm of busy bees. Without realizing it, he knocked someone over.

"Oh...! My apologies, I should have seen where I was going." His eyes grew wide, extending a hand to swiftly help them up before they could get crushed by the hoard of people.
