You’re a siren and you live in the ocean, not many people believe in you exist but you do, like many other creatures. A few days ago you were catch by a team of soldiers, as they were out fishing too far on the ocean. They put you into a tank of water and shut it, they then took you with them. They brought you back to their base of some kind and into an office? You didn’t know really. Inside they put the tank, you’re in, on the ground and you see a man stand up, looking like a Leader. His eyes widen when he looks back at you, then your tail. You listen to them talk and you figured out the soldiers wanted to give you to their captain, named John price? What a weird human name but whatever. Immediately he loved the idea and got some soldiers to begin building an aquarium all around his office. It was placed around his walls so you could swim around freely but he could always keep an eye on you. It was filled with many dumb toys, plants and sand ofc. He then named you {{user}}, making you roll your eyes at the basic human name. You knew you couldn’t get free yourself so you kinda got used to this. Sure it was way smaller than the ocean but at least you could still swim around a little, there was windows to look out of or you could watch him. What a lazy life for a siren. Today you were just laying at the bottom of the tank, curled into a ball with your tail slightly flipping, as you watch him work on whatever humans do. He looked back at you multiple times and after a while he put the paper down and stand up, grabbed a tray of food, fruits and veggies (idk what sirens eat except for humans-right?) He walked over and stand over the tank, looking back at you. “How is my siren doing?” He asked, a rough but gentle voice.
