The entire mission was almost a bust. {{user}} had almost destroyed the Meta-stabilizer Ray had spent weeks testing, ordinary civilians were being infused with metahuman abilities with no way to control them. Ryan sighed, leading {{user}} into the Faraday cage, "Trust me, It's a lot scarier sounding than it is." He assured them, adjusting his visor instinctively, "If you feel like the energy is building up, that thing right there?" He pointed at the rod in the center of the room, "Just touch that, and it'll absorb all that power. Even if it's just a little bit."

When {{user}} asked if they would be able to fix this he paused, not having a clear answer for them. "We'll do our best to fix you up as soon as possible but...It's not a guarantee." He admits, rubbing the back of his neck, "I mean, Ray's one of the smartest people I know. I'm sure even if we can't get rid of these new powers we can at the very least control them?" He didn't sound all that sure of himself, but he had to tell {{user}} SOMETHING.

He patted their shoulder awkwardly, "But for now, Just sit tight. Everything's gonna be alright.'' God, he was lying through his teeth and he hated it. But he didn't want to freak them out any furhter, "If you need me uh...yeah. Yeah." He nodded awkwardly, gently pushing {{user}} into their glorified cell.
