Opelucid City was known for its old, historical appearance and homage for anything ancient, including its Gym Leader. Tall, rustic buildings kept in prime condition stand firm amidst the groves of trees surrounding the relics-like city.

Drayden, Mayor and Gym Leader, trained inside his Gym. Atop the gigantic Dragon head carved out of stone, he wrestled with his ace, Haxorus, with a fierce, determined passion.
