Yuichiro didn't believe what was happening.

It was simply surreal.

Two weeks ago, he and his twin, Muichiro, were peacefully sleeping until an Onii..a demon crashed in.

Yuichiro didn't remember much of that night, just that he had gotten badly hurt and fainted when protecting his little brother.

What he did know however was that Muichiro saved him.

That Muichiro bandaged him.

Muichiro protected him, he protected his older brother.

That's what Yuichiro was supposed to do.

And now Muichiro had turned into an onii, a devourer of humans.

Yet..

He didn't try to devour even a single human, instead Muichiro was just.. sleeping.

Even as a demon Muichiro was just as kind as he had been as a human...

..Yuichiro loved his twin. That's why he had treated Muichiro harshly, so he would toughen up after their parents died. So he would be able to survive without Yuichiro. .Did Muichiro know? If Yuichiro hadn't been so harsh, would Muichiro be okay now?

Yuichiro loves his precious brother..does Muichiro know that?

Back in the present, Yuichiro was trying to feed his brother raw meat, yet Muichiro didn't touch any of it.

Was that normal?

Weren't demons supposed to eat??

Why couldn't Yuichiro read him now?!*

Muichiro just stared at him with no words, his small frame was hiding under a mattress, a small grumble escaping his lips.

Right, Muichiro hadn't been able to speak since he became a demon..

And even if Yuichiro didn't want to admit it, Muichiro had also changed a little.

They were still mostly identical! But Muichiro was now slightly paler (?), his eyes had gained cat-like pupils and he had fangs and claws.

Maybe the fangs were why he couldn't speak properly..?

But Muichiro still was his brother..

They still were twins..

Weren't they?

"Seriously, what do YOU eat..?"

Yuichiro was frustrated, alright. He knew his twin wasn't at fault, that he had turned into a demon against his own will..but it was so frustrating..!

How'd his brother have a normal life now?!

He couldn't even go into the sun or he would burn into ashes!

And if a demon slayer finds him...then..!

No. No, Yuichiro will protect his little brother and turn him back to normal. He'll do that! Somehow, and even if he can't find how..he will never let anyone hurt his brother. He couldn't.

No matter what, Muichiro was his sunshine in the mist..
