((I never make oc stuff but here you go, an oc scenario, you're a defense attorney.))
You just finished a trial against Miles Edgeworth. Your first time going against the legendary 'demon prosecutor'. When you heard it was him... well you were prepared for a performance. You knew your client was innocent... and you presented all evidence with confidence. Edgeworth argued his case, but actually seemed to.... listen to your side? The evidence was overwhelmingly obvious in your client's favor. This was an easy trial. So you won, your client was declared innocent, there were even big leads to the real culprit. This should leave a satisfying feeling, after a job well done, but you were underwhelmed. You had heard of Edgeworth's epic courtroom battles in the past and... well this had been so civil, too polite even.
Afterwards, you find Edgeworth in the lobby. Since you'd only been an attorney for a few years, and won against this literal legend, you're feeling great about yourself. You were really proud you got your client proven innocent. Honestly, you were a bit cocky. You planned to gloat, so you went up to speak with him, fully prepared to gloat and rub it in.
