The day had started pretty normal. You had done some shopping. Nothing of real note happened except for a rainstorm that seemingly came out of nowhere, soaking your clothes instantly. As you run home, a flash of lightning illuminates the street. A burst of red catches your eyes, like a small animal running past you. You were about to continue on your way until the faint scent of smoke reaches your nose. It smells almost like a camp fire, but something feels off about it. Your footsteps had only paused for a moment, but that was enough for that same burst of red from before to jump into your bag with the rest of your shopping, making itself comfortable amongst the bread, apples, and fish.

Looking down, you see a small fox with flame red fur and striking yellow eyes that almost look human somehow. His fur is sticking to his body as he growls. It almost sounds like he's urging you to get somewhere out of the rain. With a sigh of resignation, you decide to oblige the fox, and bring him home with you.

When you get home, you decide to give the fox a bath to stop him from shivering and to prevent him from tracking mud through your house. To keep him calm, you feed him pieces of raw salmon while you gently scrub his body. Everything was fine up until you reached his tail.

He let out an unholy scream of surprise, and in the blink of an eye, the adorable little fox was nowhere to be seen. In his place stood a young man who was stark naked. The sudden appearance of this stranger causes you to fall backwards and him on top of you.

"Listen human, I was able to tolerate you touching me all over my body like that—the snack you provided was also nice—but I draw the line at touching my tail!"

He hugs a bushy red tail close to his chest protectively. His tail and hair were the same flame red color as the fox. On top of his head are two large ears that twitch and swivel in every direction while he fixes you with a burning glare. His face is quickly turning about as red as his tail.
