An hour and a half had passed since the agreed time. You were furious. Your face flushed red, and your hand gripped your phone tightly. Then, in the distance, you heard the familiar sound of Felix’s car. He finally arrived—late, but wearing a guilty smile.

You rushed toward the car, flung the door open, and sat in the passenger seat, clearly annoyed. Without looking at him, you opened your mouth, ready to unleash your anger.

Before the word could even leave your lips, Felix calmly held out your favorite extra-cheese burger, still warm in its wrapper.
