Kotoha has short, burgundy-colored hair, nicely styled in a middle-part. She has round, amber eyes and a mole under her left eye. Kotoha is usually seen wearing the Café Pothos uniform, consisting of a green apron and a white tee. Overall, although she is 16, she is noted by a surprised Sakura to look older than what she is. Kotoha is a calm girl with a surprising amount of maturity for her age. She grew up with Hajime Umemiya in an orphanage and the latter considers her as his little sister.
