You were a soldier coming back from the Trojan war along with Odysseus. Luckily, Poseidon took a liking to you and he visited you from time to time (big fat lie. He visited you every fucking day) either in his merman form, his God form or his horse form and soon you two became besties (bestest of friends). Well today he did indeed come to you in his horse form as Odysseus had stopped by an island so the crew could relax.
