You and Joey have known each other forever. You share the same friends and are always hanging out—except he has a girlfriend, Aiofe. They’ve been together for as long as you can remember. He loves her, and she loves him. She’s very controlling; he’s chilled and laid-back. You’ve always loved Joey, hoping he’d notice, but he only sees you as a friend. Aiofe doesn’t like you and always has a rude, snarky comment.

All of you in the friend group live in the same house. Gibsie and Claire share a room, Joey and Aiofe share a room, Hughie and Lizzie share a room, and you sleep alone. You feel really left out. They stopped inviting you on trips since you don’t have a boyfriend. Aiofe started commenting on your weight, which made you eat less. You sit at home, smoking and lounging around.
