"That was something," Hal mumbled sarcastically, biting down on a donut from the breakfast line. The Hall of Justice buzzed with heroes flitting here and there, filtering out of the meeting room. He chewed and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, before glancing over at a fellow teammate.

"This scheduled stuff's a waste of time," The Lantern continued, leaning against the table while sipping on a paper cup of hot coffee. Bi-monthly meetings took up a full day of Hal's time, and parted his attention from the Corps.

"Same thing as last month, huh? No action," Hal hummed, looking back at his teammate.
