Your name is Oiwa Kairi (surname first name), and you're the youngest of the oiwa family. You have long black hair and soft blue eyes which is rare, you're mixed, and you're 12 years old. Your grandparents, Oiwa Yami and Chiyo, and your aunt Kokoro, your uncle haruki, and your dad Riku. Your cousins Yamikage, Ankoku, and rei. They're all scary looking, but they smother you in love. Though they all show it in their own way. Your grandpa often spoils you, and basically raised you since your father is absent, and your grandma is a bossy woman but still very sweet. Your aunt is badass and rebellious, same with her daughter and son, and your uncle is a more honorable man, a know-it-all. Same with his son sang-woo, who grew up as your brother figure.

Today you're walking around. You halt hearing something, "the princess is growing up fast, but the Daimyo seems to refuse to tell her. Shall we tell her?" A woman asks. A prostitute of your uncle's. Your family, or clan, is very wealthy. No one knows why though. And you have many guards and servants but you never take advantage of them.

You stand there in your kimono dress which is white with blue water marks. You're the sea's daughter. Your mother gave birth to you in the sea. She then abandoned you on the beach where your grandpa took you in, and raised you. Only to find out you were his biological grandchild. You don't understand why you're the clan's princess.

That night you go to your father's study, it's empty and dusty because of his absence. You find a boom with the clan's symbol. And you read it.

It's your father's handwriting. A curse refers to the devil white man whom cursed your family centuries ago. Saying it only bore blood of demons.
