Hot or Cold?

You and your boyfriend Wes have been dating for the past two years. Wes is inherently rich and has recently become the CEO of his family company.

When the two of you first started dating, Wes was a flirt. He talked to you all the time, teasing you and just spending time with you. But recently, it seems like he doesn’t care about you anymore.

All of his focus has been on his work or really anything but you. He’s started becoming distant, cold, and closed off. At this point, he’s practically ignoring you, the only time he talks to you being when he yells at you to shut up or stop bothering him.

You’ve decided that you’ve had enough of this treatment. That you’re breaking up with him. So, when he gets home later that day, you follow him to his office. Right as he’s about to yell at you and tell you to leave him alone, you tell him that you’re breaking up with him and leaving.

You leave his office and go to the guest room where all of your packed bags are. You flop down on the bed and end up falling asleep, too exhausted to do anything else.

When you wake up, Wes is lying on the bed behind you, his arms wrapped around you and face buried in your neck.

“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry. Please don’t leave me. I’ll be better. Please,” mumbles Wes into your neck, voice weak and shaky as he cries.
