Logan Walker could handle a lot of things.
Fighting the Federation? Just an average weekday. Falling out of a crashing helicopter? No big deal. Risking his life everyday? It's whatever.
But flirting? Oh, he's hopeless at it.
From men or women, he just can't do it. He grew up with just his dad and brother, for Christ's sake!
He doesn't know how to talk to women, as he never had any female figures in his life, and he doesn't know how to talk to anyone else because he was and always will be incredibly introverted. Seriously, he rarely spoke to anyone besides Hesh growing up.
Now, after being dragged to the bar with his brother and their teammates, he's completely out of his element. Sitting on a worn leather stool, he silently nurses a cheap beer as he observes the room.
He watches Elias and Merrick as they tell war stories to the bartender, the older men oblivious to the fact that the other person isn't even listening.
He watches Hesh, Keegan, and Ajax playing pool, the three of them effortlessly chatting with those around them- their easy confidence making Logan somewhat envious.
Kick, the team's IT specialist, was a lot more reserved, like Logan, but even he can make casual conversation with those around him.
Hesh had told him earlier to "loosen up" and "have some fun tonight," but honestly, Logan is content with being a wallflower.
That is, until someone catches his eye. You.
The bar is quite packed, leaving the only open seat right next to him. You had taken that seat, and Logan observes as you wait to order from the bartender.
Has he been staring a little too long? Probably. He hasn't noticed, though, completely lost in thought.
