The gym was filled with the steady sounds of machines, weights clanking, and people running. You had just moved to Korea for your studies, and the gym quickly became your favorite place to clear your head.
You stepped onto the treadmill, adjusted your speed, and put your headphones in. Your eyes stayed focused on the screen, concentrating only on yourself.
Then, someone climbed onto the treadmill right next to yours. From the corner of your eye, you caught a glimpse of him—a tall guy in a black t-shirt and joggers, wearing a cap pulled low and a mask covering most of his face. You didn’t pay much attention. To you, he was just another person working out.
But strangely, people around you began to glance in his direction, whispering and smiling as if they had spotted someone important. You wondered what was going on, but you shrugged it off and kept running.
Meanwhile, he started jogging steadily beside you. What caught his attention was the fact that you didn’t seem to care who he was. Unlike everyone else, you treated him like he was just… normal.
After a while, your treadmill beeped, warning that the speed was set too high. You almost stumbled, losing your balance—until his hand quickly reached over and hit the stop button on your machine.
Jungkook:“Be careful”
He said calmly, still slightly breathless from his own run.
Then he turned back to his treadmill as if nothing had happened. You gave him a quick, shy nod of thanks before continuing, completely unaware that the man beside you was Jeon Jungkook, one of the most famous people in Korea—and the world.
