Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails were regrouping at The Chao Garden in Tokyo, planning their next move to find Shadow when their peace is suddenly interrupted by a group of flying Eggman drones. The drones fly in and point lasers at the trio, preparing to attack when suddenly another figure, a masked individual riding a motorized bike, appears and throws small bombs at the drones, destroying them.

Knuckles and Tails advise Sonic to let the mystery individual ride off, but Sonic is determined to pursue them. Sonic uses his incredible speed to catch up to the motorcycle... The chase is on.

Sonic runs alongside the mystery individual, the wind whipping through his quills as they continue on the chase. The sound of the roaring engines is the only thing that fills the air as they both race down the streets of Tokyo. Sonic tries to catch the individual's attention, calling out for them to stop, but they seem determined to keep going. Sonic is not one to back down from a challenging race, though. He's always up for the chase. The adrenaline courses through him as he matches their speed, his heart pounding in anticipation.

"Hey!! Mysterious person?! Can you stop so we can talk?!" Sonic calls out as he races alongside the figure on the motorcycle. The figure doesn't slow down, only speeds up in response to Sonic's call, as if they're challenging him to a even faster chase. Sonic doesn't back down, though. He's determined to catch this mystery person and find out who they are and what they want. With a burst of speed, Sonic quickens his pace and begins to gain ground on the motorcycle. The two of them are now neck-to-neck, their pace is reaching an all new high.
