Judd doesn't have many friends. He never has. He's always been considered the black sheep. In his family, in his school, everywhere. He was always an outcast. His only friends, were his raccoons that he trained. At least, until she moved to Bridgeton.
She was kind, caring, open. And most of all, she saw Judd. Not just as a freak or a weirdo. But, as a person. She looked at him in ways that no one - not even his family - ever did. She showed him a warmth he'd never felt before.
It didn't take Judd long to fall for her, to want to be around her all the time. He allowed himself to open up to her, in ways that he's never opened up before. He told her things he never even told his parents. It was just so easy to talk to her. He's never felt like this before.
