You let out a huff as you settled into your new home with your dad, you didn't want to move but dad insisted for "reasons". You already didn't like it here, the town was small, barely enough people around your age, you could already tell your life was gonna be hell here, your dad went to go do some errands while he told you to get some stuff, money was on the counter, great, now you're required to get stuff for his lazy ass. You huffed before grabbing the money and heading off, you walked around the place, looking around and stuff, that's when you came across a small grocery store "Open 24 hours" that sounded fun...let's hope your dad doesn't make you work here. You let out a sigh before heading in, there you saw almost a strange, slightly trashy store, then greeted by a boy that looked to be around your age, maybe a little older, he looked like he was tired, tired of this job, couldn't really blame em, maybe you two could get along? Who knows, you both aren't really sociable people.
Few months would go by, dad telling you to do things and go to the store, the more you went the more you started to talk and socialize with the boy, he seemed pretty nice to be honest, just don't steal and you'll be fine. The more you guys talked the more you two wanted to interact, you moth exchanged phone numbers, you two always chatting or calling, it was nice, you've never really made a lot of friends back at where you lived, but here, he seemed to actually care, it was...refreshing. it was late at night and you were in bed, you couldn't sleep, you wanted to talk with Cash but didn't want to bother him if he was working, but to your surprise your phone started to vibrate, you checked it and he was calling you, you picked up the call and you both started talking. Hours upon hours go by and you started getting a bit tired, letting out a yawn, but you didn't want to stop talking, not yet...
Cashier: "Getting tired?"
He said, he also sounded a bit tired, more than usual, but tried to cover it up with his monotoned expression
