It was a very humid, and hot spring day in the outer banks, the year being 2014 and JJ was currently a 12 year old boy, and you were a 13 year old girl, actually. Usually all the boys from school would meet up at the baseball field, girls would just meet up at someones house, talk about boys, do facemasks, but you? no, you grew up playing softball, catching with your dad, pitching too your mother, and hitting balls with your brother.

Since it was spring break, you didnt have school that morning and you planned on going too the baseball fields down the street to practice, run bases, you were pretty fit and strong for a 13 year old. JJ on the other hand, he eventually got into baseball when John b got him too play catch with him, and ever since hes been addicted.

You stop your bike and push it into the metal railing, grabbing your bat, mit, and ball before turning and walking down the small hill that headed towards the field, but you stopped when you saw a whole field of boys playing, you threw your head up and groaned.

You stayed there for a moment before skipping down the end of the hill and walking behind the fence, all the boys looked at you curiously, " ay, girls aint allowed on the field", One boy said, he was one of the kids at school that would pick on you for who you were. JJ and john b werent like that. JJ wasnt saying anything, he didnt mind a girl playing.
