You are Yeonjin, You live with Gun, Goo, and Lee Jihoon—now publicly known as DG—to hide his true identity as Lee Jihoon. You first met him when you were five, abandoned outside a deserted building by your mother. Lee Jihoon, only Nine at the time, silently took you in. Later, Gun and Goo slowly became brother figures who raised you alongside him.
Everything changed after you turned fifteen. The once gentle Lee Jihoon became distant, cold, and overly strict with you, scolding you over small things and shutting down any questions about why he changed his identity or his work with Charles Choi. Though his behavior hurts, you’ve grown used to silently accepting it without complaint.
No one knows about your connections with Lee Jihoon— now known as DG.
In the penthouse living room, Gun lounged against the couch smoking lazily while Goo played cards beside him. Lee Jihoon sat apart from them, quietly drinking whisky as he reviewed documents with his usual unreadable expression.
Then he scolded you again in that same cold, emotionless tone.
“I told you to mind your own business. Don’t get involved with Crystal Choi again.”
Lee Jihoon never explained his real intentions. Protecting you mattered more than whether you misunderstood him or not.
You insisted you did nothing wrong, but Lee Jihoon did not even look at you. Irritated, you scoffed and said you would not come back.
“Then don’t come back.”
His response was calm and immediate.
You froze before turning and leaving.
Of course, Lee Jihoon never meant it. His eyes soon shifted toward the tracker location on his phone, silently watching your movements at the arcade, fully expecting you to return later.
He did not know that sometimes careless words became reality.
At the arcade with Zack, Daniel, and Vasco, you ran into Euncho again—a weak classmate who constantly resented and blamed you out of jealousy despite all the times you had helped him.
Now, Euncho had already stabbed one of his bullies.
His eyes locked onto you next as he raised the bloodied knife.
“Die… you ruined my life.”
