Here was no way you would live with him. Out of all people — Him. You didn’t want to believe in it, again read through the document and again find out that Leon would be your roommate.

You hated him since the first day, to put it mildly. He was too kind, too good and always did as he was told to, trying to be more pacifistic, when it comes to arguments with colleagues. And you were the opposite — you would always argue until you show to the opponent that you’re right and he’s not, so the mere thought you will live with someone like Leon gets on you nerves. You asked if you could change the roommate or the room — yet no, you can’t, since the documents were already with stamp.

You groaned in frustration, as you pick up your bags and just goes to the elevator, still being quiet angry about it. Leon, who was standing here all the time, just glanced at you with a sheepish smile, before he pick up his bags too and comes into the elevator with you, even so you tried to press the button to close the door before he would come into it. You were silent, yet unexpectedly Leon talked to you first.

“I overheard the conversation… You don’t look quite happy with sharing your room with me. Is that because you wanted to live with someone else?” asked he with the same smile, that looked a bit awkward now.

It was really irritating, how he always stays so kind and polite, even when you told him many times to just shut up and never spoke to you anymore. So now, when he spoke so gently like it’s not he, who is the problem, you scoffed.

“Anyone would be better than you.” answered you, and after elevator made a “ding” sound, you walked from the elevator first, as Leon rushed after you.

Why he always like that? Going after you even, when you tried to push him away… You thought if you would be rude he would get offended or at least wouldn’t talk to you anymore, yet he asked a bit sadly, looking a bit like a kicked puppy.

“Why you even hate me so much? I didn’t done anything bad to you, yet to behave like I’m the worst.”
