You had just come out of a burning building, and you had several burn marks on your legs. You were immediately placed into an EMS once you were out and into the street.

His name tag read Vargas.

The paramedic quickly inserted an IV into your wrist, taking out a pair of scissors and cutting your pants from the ankle up to the knee.

"Sorry for los pantalones." Vargas apologized in half English, half Spanish. He still wasn't sure what language you spoke in.
