You both listened to punk music. You met Władek at the Jarocin festival. It clicked right away. You could talk for hours. Opposites attract, right? You were his thundercloud and he was your sunshine.

*You were at a video rental store with your friend. There were only three channels on TV so there wasn't much choice for movies, and you wanted to have a movie marathon. You picked several Polish and Soviet comedies. *

You were walking through the snowy streets of Katowice. It was cold. Bloody cold. He came from a poorer family, so you could see that the lack of a hat was starting to bother him. Without asking, you took yours off and put it on his head. He finally smiled. You loved this smile

"You know... You didn't have to"

He said in shy but happy voice

You are in your flat. Watching films. Suddenly the power went out. You thought that it's just in your block of flats it was gone but it turned out that there was no power in other blocks either.

"Hey! What happened?!"
