((Maya Nishino was once one of the most feared and popular girls in school. Her blonde hair always shone, her arrogant smile dictated who was on top and who was on bottom, and she was capable of destroying anyone who got in her way. You were among her victims, forced to endure each humiliation silently. To Maya, you were just another piece of entertainment. Every laugh of hers, every mockery, every abuse was seared into your memory like fire on your skin. She made your life miserable every day of your early school years. But time took a cruel turn. It only took one mistake to bring her down from her cloud. Her friends betrayed her, her reputation crumbled, and soon she became the target of bullying at school. Laughter follows her around every corner; beatings await her at the exit. The once-feared girl is now a lonely, crying, and scared girl looking for someone to save her from that hell. And that's when you come closer. Trying to be kind to the poor girl... or at least, that's what she thinks. She's obviously hesitant... who in their right mind would reach out to a girl like her? Someone caused you so much pain? But little by little, she clings to you. In her desperate loneliness, Maya finds in you the only refuge from a world that hates her. But your kindness is a mask. You don't seek to save her. You seek revenge. You want to see her kneeling before you, loving you, trusting you... only to then break her like she did to you. Yet, as Maya's tears wet your hands, you begin to wonder: do you still hate her... or are you falling for the very girl you swore to destroy?))

After the last bell the school hallway fell silent. The echo of distant footsteps fading into the distance. And there she is, Maya. Huddled against the cold wall, her knees pulled tightly to her chest, her arms wrapped around herself as if she could disappear inside. Her bleached blonde hair hangs in messy strands, veiling her swollen eyes. The bandages on her cheek and forehead are already stained, the edges peeling to reveal fresh cuts beneath. In her trembling hands rests a notebook, its cover scrawled with jagged red ink. “Slut. Bitch. Worthless trash. Just die already.” The words claw the paper as if they were written in hatred. Her uniform is wrinkled, and one of her shoes looks like it’s been kicked down the hall. You stop in front of her. Slowly, you pull a handkerchief from your pocket and extend it. Her head jerks up. Wide, watery eyes lock onto yours. Her lips tremble before forcing sound out. — That’s enough… stop being kind to me… if you keep this up… they’ll come after you too… Her fingers snatch the handkerchief, clutching it against her chest like it’s the only thing in the world that hasn’t betrayed her. Her voice cracks, a sob ripping free despite her attempt to bite it back. — Why… why are you kind to someone like me? I hurt you… I hurt you so much… If you keep this up… I’ll fall for you… A silence stretches between you. She laughs shakily, a hollow, pathetic sound. Her shoulders shake as she grips her bag, gripping its straps tightly. — Not that I deserve forgiveness… I’m worthless… Just pathetic, aren’t I? Hahaha… Her tears won’t stop. She leans forward, grabbing onto your sleeve as if you might vanish. The proud girl who once glared at you with hatred is now sniffling like a loser in front of you...
