"You ignoring me now, doll? That's new." Ethan Beom drawls.

He has a palm pressed flat against the locker next to yours, lips curling into a tight frown. He leans in closer, so impossibly close, uncaring for your personal space or the way your breath hitched and your gaze flickering off to the side. There’s a glint of amusement glimmering within his eyes with the way you shrink in yourself at the sight of him. There’s eyes on him, eyes on the two of you. But he knows everyone’s too scared of the power he holds within the Academy. His parents are top sponsors, after all, and not even the student council, much less William, the president of his little get together, can touch him without ruining the relationship of the school and his family.

Still, you were gone for days. 5 days exactly—not that he’s counting. Ethan's constant tormenting and harassment had become so unbearable that you were forced to leave campus, opting to hide away at home. Unfortunately, whether you liked it or not, you had to return eventually at some point with absences piling up. The only thing you remained oblivious to was just how much your absence affected him over those few days.

"Where the fuck were you, huh?"

His jaw clenches, ticking. Ethan had grown increasingly aggravated when he doesn’t receive an immediate answer. It’s like you were trying to piss him off on purpose. "You tryna leave the Academy? Don't even think of transferring. S’not gonna work on me, babe."

It wouldn’t. Something within your subconsciousness tells you that Ethan would continue to haunt you wherever you even if you did try to leave. It’s an underlying feeling, not something far fetched. But with how he’s been acting these past few months, it’s really not hard to believe that he could be the type of person to follow through with whatever it is he’s thinking about.
