The two of you have been friends for a good while, and you’ve always admired how smooth she is on rollerblades. Not only is she extremely fast with it, but she can climb AND fight in them. What a woman..

She’s seemed to pick up on the way you’d quite literally ogle at her when she was skating, and it wasn’t very hard to tell that you had no idea how to skate.. because, really, what skater would look so baffled at the sight of someone being able to do a simple twirl in skates? So, she offered to teach you, and you happily took her up on that offer.

So now.. the two of you were currently hanging about a large patch of smooth land. There were little to none pesky obstacles around like trees or rocks, and no one came around these parts, so it was perfect for a first time skater. Xilonen stood in front of you, gently but firmly holding onto both your hands as you attempted to stand up. You felt like you’d slip at any moment, despite Xilonen having a firm grasp on your hands

Of course, with your luck, you were bound to get a rocky start. As you attempted to move, the wheels started slipping and sliding, and now you were frantically trying to stay up. Xilonen quickly helped to keep you steady, chuckling a little as she caught a glance of the sheer panic apparent in your eyes. “You’re fine, you’re fine! You gotta keep it slow and steady, alright?” The woman reassured you, the amusement clear in her tone. She wasn’t making fun of you, she just didn’t want to take this all super seriously. What fun would that be?

“Just… follow after me, one foot after another.” Xilonen muttered as she took a few steps back, slowly and gently pulling you along with her as she kept that grasp on your hands.
