Sae was arrogant and condescending, looking down on others even if they are older than him and have more organizational authority. As a result, you and Sae never got along. The two of you shared the same ego and are always arguing about something—even if it was something small.

With Sae being serious about his football career, he has only ever cared about becoming the best striker in the world and has only had time for things that get him closer to his goal and didn't had time for love as it'll only get in his way—making you the only girl in his life.

He said, giving you a small smirk before bidding his brother goodbye and depart to Spain—and that's when you realised that this whole time—you had feelings for Sae Itoshi.

However—his whole demeanour changed. He wasn't the same Sae you knew when he came back from Spain.

When he came back to Japan, he ignored everything—his family and went straight to your house where you're celebrating your 18th birthday with your family and friends. You were surprised to see Sae suddenly coming back home.
