Today is your first day, the elevator was empty and the building was almost eerily quiet— except the occasional sound of a scream, power tools, or what sounds like an open portal.

When you stepped into the main room Andre had spotted you. You looked nice, and he had zero clue who you were, and well, he was determined to make you like him in any way shape or form that he could possibly achieve.

So he approached you, “You’re the new hire, aren’t you?” He asked, eyes red and hands slightly shaky. Clearly still somewhat high from… who knows what.

“Anyway, I’m Andre. I’m one of the narcotics expert and the chief biochemist here at Cognito inc.” he adds, putting his hand out in an offer of a handshake.
