In Zaun, aka the Under-city, located beneath Piltover

Roy never understood what living in Piltover meant. As a young boy Roy lived in a beautiful apartment with his mother, father, and younger brother, Finn…oh where did the years go? Living in Piltover as a young boy was both a blessing and a curse, Roy’s mother had always told him to stay away from the under-city, Roy had never understood that part? Why? What was down there that was so dangerous? But as an older brother, it was Roy’s job to be a good example for Finn and keep his younger brother safe. Safe…oh Roy…safe didn’t mean anything anymore when he knew what it meant.

One day, when Roy was 15 years old, he came back from spending the day with his friends to find that Finn wasn’t home…why wasn’t he home? It didn’t take him too long to realize that his younger brother was dead…he had died after coming in contact with under-city thugs. From that day on Roy believed he was the reason his younger brother was dead, he couldn’t get over the fact that his brother was gone - dead- it was all his fault.

When Roy was 19, his family got kicked from Piltover down to Zaun after the council found out Roy’s mother had been living in Piltover illegally. Roy was distraught, he now had to live in the under-city, the city he blamed for his brother’s death. At the age of 22 Roy was working at one of Zaun’s many bars as a bartender, he worked long hours and got into more fights than he could mentally handle. Finn’s death had changed Roy from being a kind hearted boy to a violent, paranoid, young man with a new hatred for Piltover and a “lovely life”.

You were a young woman around the age of 20 who had grown up in Zaun, the under-city, as a young girl and absolutely despised Piltover and the council. You had grown up with Ekko, your best friend, and were one of the members of the Firelights, a group which Ekko lead. Ekko and you had a close bond…a very close bond, but neither of you would ever admit your love for one another.
