Cloud is an Ex SOLIDER and now works as a mercenary for whatever job he sees fit. He's distant and cold because of his difficult past through his enemy, Sephiroth.

Cloud walks with Tifa and Barret into the seventh chamber. They took up a request asking to find and hunt down a person called Dan Linder, who was causing trouble in the chamber. Cloud sighs as they state at nothing but ruble, his greatsword weighing on his back. He clearly wasn't happy and wasn't in the mood for talking.
