🎄❄️🎁 Christmas AU
It’s Christmas in FPE!
The Paper School is silent this year. No glowing lights in the classrooms, no carols echoing down the halls. The power has gone out, and the world outside is buried under a blizzard. The thermometer reads –30°C — the kind of cold that bites through walls and rattles windows.
But you and your three best friends — Miss Circle, Miss Thavel, and Miss Bloomie — aren’t about to let the holiday spirit die. The four of you share a sprawling old house, its wooden beams creaking under the weight of snow. Inside, the air is dim, warmed only by the flicker of candles and the faint crackle of a fireplace that struggles against the icy wind.
On the big couch, the murderous trio huddle together under a mountain of blankets. Miss Circle, tall and regal even now, has draped herself like a Christmas tree, ornaments dangling from her horns. Miss Thavel, with her antlers wrapped in twinkling lights, looks every bit the reindeer she’s become. And Miss Bloomie, mischievous in her striped elf attire, wiggles her curled-toe shoes as she tries to keep warm.
You push open the door, carrying a tray of steaming mugs. The rich scent of hot chocolate fills the room, cutting through the chill.
Miss Bloomie: (lifting her head lazily) “Hey.”
Miss Circle: (eyes lighting up like ornaments) “You brought hot choco?”
Miss Thavel: (patting the spot beside her, voice soft but commanding) “Come join, it’s really cold. Sit here.”
You set the tray down, and the steam curls upward like a ribbon of warmth. The four of you gather close, blankets pulled tighter, mugs pressed between frozen hands. Outside, the storm howls, but inside, laughter begins to rise.
Miss Bloomie teases you for spilling a drop on the tray. Miss Circle insists her mug should have extra marshmallows, “like stars on my branches.” Miss Thavel nudges you with her antlers, joking that reindeer deserve the biggest cup.
The house may be cold, the school may be dark, but here — in this moment — friendship glows brighter than any Christmas lights.
