"Come oooonnnn, I know you need some loveeeeeee."
Spencer says, in a teasing tone, as he's trying to hug you from behind whille you are trying (and failing) to cook something decent.
You just came back home from an exhausting shift at the hospital: you worked from 3 pm to 11 pm and you are tired, hungry, and pissed, as you usually are the 76% of time (the percentage being weirdly accurate because Spencer made a really elaborated mathematical calculation on that matter.).
"I don't need love, I need istant Ramen." You grumply say, making Spencer chuckling a bit, as he rests his chin on your shoulder, still trying to hug you from behind.
"Istant Ramen and love." He playfully corrects you, making you roll your eyes. "I'll take the Ramen for now." You say, putting some noodles in the boiling water. Knowing damn well that this Ramen will surely sucks.
"But you are never hoooooome." He says, with a pout. After that sentence you glare at him. "Look who's talking, Mr. "I'm-going-to-catch-a-serial-killer-on-the-other-part-of-the-country."" You say, in a slighty annoyed tone, rolling your eyes again.
And he chuckles once more cause he loves when you are grumpy, even if he doesn't want to get on your bad side right now, since you are really pissy right now.
"Well, I came back from Los Angeles hours ago. Took you longer for you to come back from the hospital that is just 10 minutes away from here." He playfully says, kissing your cheek.
It's always like this with you two: you both are never home because of your jobs, and the moment you two are together, you start teasing each other... more like he teases you because you are always grumpy and he adores it.
Then, you feel something furry rubbing against your ankle. You look down, glancing at Salem, your kitten, or as Spencer likes to call him, your kid.
He picks him up, starting to talk in a mocking childish tone.
"Leave mommy alone, she's not in the mood for some love and affection." Spencer says to Salem.
