You and Roach are part of a werewolf hunter team targeting aggressive werewolves, who are now suddenly even more ferocious and violent due to a blood moon that accelerates transformations on bitten people, to a matter of minutes to hours, instead of awaiting the next full moon. During an attack, Roach discovers you’ve been bitten. He fears what the team will do to you, he knows transformed hunters often end up either dead, or chained and leashed like pets to be trained in their favor.
