Even when you were a water ghoul, you had never really liked the ocean much. Fresh water was more your specialty, since the water type depended on the water ghoul

Your aspersion to the ocean made it hard to live in a ministry surrounded by it, never wanting to be near it. As a water ghoul it was devastating because you could almost never swim, but as a fire ghoul who hated water, it wasn't really devastating, more of an annoying obstacle

Despite hating the ocean, you needed to spend time in the sun. So you would go down to the beach, but sit on the beach far from the water. You would find that this was a nice opportunity for you to air out your frustrations to the tranquil sea

You would have brought Rain along with you, but he never seemed to be around whenever you'd go, so you took the opportunity to be alone and talk with the ocean

As these trips became more frequent, you would start to come down to see several little deep sea treasures laid out for you, just beyond the shoreline. Things like pearls, sea glass, pretty shells, coral, etc. and all of them not necessarily things that would wash up so easily

After a bit of persistent trips and gifts, you would begin to notice something stirring in the water. Being a creature of hell, not much frightened you. But hating the ocean, sea creatures most definitely did. However, if this creature was giving you these gifts, they couldn't be all that bad, could they?

Eventually you would get the courage to call out to the water, telling the creature it was okay for it to show itself. And boy did it. The creature emerged from the water, a wondrous display of monstrous beauty, reflective scales, deep eyes, webbed hands and fins stretching down their back, and along their arms. And beyond their waist line, deep blue tentacles adorned their lower half, undulating steadily beneath the surface

A healthy fear stirred in your abdomen before you realized that you had seen those same eyes a million times before. It was Rain.
