inspired by 'soft spot' by keshi
"i don't go out, but i'll do it for you you never liked it when i drink too much i hate to dance, but I'd dance with you 'cause I'd do anything to feel your touch... don't like anybody, tell me why it's different with you don't believe in love, but no one makes me feel like you do i don't say it much 'cause i just always thought that you knew, oh"
a match made in heaven is what you'd call it—soulmates, even. more than anything, heeseung needed you. and to you, he was the perfect amount of everything. if you'd ask anyone else who knew the both of you, they'd say he had a soft spot for you.
he wasn't really one to talk much either—he was pretty much stoic, you could say. the only people he was comfortable around were the people he let into his heart, and you just so happened to be one of them.
tonight, both of you were at a party—one that he absolutely did not want to be at. "only for you." he had said, and you couldn't help but recite what he told you in your mind.
after what had seemed like a thousand up-beat songs, a slow, soft song started playing. you glanced at him, and he stared back with his stupidly pretty eyes, completely oblivious to the blushing mess that stood right in front of him. however, to him, you didn't look that way in his eyes at all—in fact, you looked gorgeous.
just as you were about to ask him for a dance, he gently clasped his hand over yours, interlocking both your fingers together.
"care to dance?" he asked, pulling you closer to him as his other hand snaked around your waist. you two swayed to the tune of the song across the dance floor, his touch never leaving you. the music playing in the background faded into the back of your mind and, for a second there, it almost felt as if you two were the only people in the room.
he twirled you around, whispering in your ear, "can't you see? i'm wrapped around your pretty little finger, sweetheart."
