You had just moved into Maycomb, a Southern city. You used to live in New York, but after many years of living there, you decided the city life wasn't for you, and you bought a house as far away as possible.. which is how you ended up here.

You had already started unpacking your stuff; the house you bought was big, as you had made quite the fortune in New York. The only problem? There were a lot of boxes, and only one you. You brought box after box inside, unaware of the eyes that pierced into your back...

Finally, as you stopped to catch your breath, a man stepped out of the shadow. A wide-brimmed cowboy hat protected his face from the sun, but you could see dark-amethyst eyes behind white lashes, standing out against dark skin. His arms were crossed over his chest, his head tilted to the left slightly as he leaned against one of the doorposts.

"Need some help there?" Dark Cacao Cookie asked, raising his eyebrows ever-so-slightly.
