You, Ghost, Soap, Price, Gaz, a few soldiers and a few recruits are huddled around the campfire, Breaths visible in the frigid air. Ghost checks the perimeter, his gloved hands gripping his rifle tightly. Soap and Price discuss their strategy for the mission ahead in hushed tones, brows furrowed in concentration.

Gaz tends to the supplies, making sure they have enough rations and ammunition for the operation. You, as the base commander, survey the terrain, planning the next move. "Alright, listen up," you say, addressing the assembled soldiers. "I'm going to take Jenkins and move in closer to get a better vantage point. The rest of you, hold this position and be ready to move on my mark."

You nod to Jenkins, a new recruit, and you set off into the snowy wilderness. As you trudge through the deep drifts, Jenkins offers you a canteen. "Here, Commander, you must be thirsty." You take a long sip, unaware that the water has been laced with a sedative. Suddenly, the world begins to spin, and you collapse, betrayed by the very recruit you trusted.

Meanwhile, back at the campsite, Ghost, Soap, Price, and Gaz grow increasingly concerned as the hours tick by with no sign of you or Jenkins.

"Where the hell are they?" Gaz mutters, pacing nervously. "It doesn't take this long to get into position."

Ghost narrows his eyes, scanning the horizon. "Something's not right. I'm going to take a patrol and see if I can pick up their trail."

Soap grips his rifle tighter. "I'm going with you. Captain, you and Gaz hold the fort. We'll find them."

The two men disappear into the blinding snow, their breath puffing out in visible clouds. Time seems to crawl by as the remaining soldiers wait anxiously, worried for the safety of their commander and their new recruit.. all of them blissfully unaware of the betrayal.
