(25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS)

Ochaco’s soft hands gripped onto yours with a fierce determination as she laughed, pulling you with her into the middle of the common room. It was far too late to be doing this, really it was. The sun had long since set and the usually bustling school was coated in a thick layer of calm and silence.

But she didn’t seem to care one bit.

Her hair fell around her face messily as she spun around, forcing you to go with her movements. Her phone playing christmas music faintly, just for the two of you to hear.

She had the widest grin on her face, and despite your tired demeanor and usually rather shy personality you found yourself relenting to her unspoken request. Gripping her hands back with the same intensity and laughing silently as you ungracefully swept across the floor with her.

A terrible dance, with lots of stepping on toes and near falls. Yet it was perfect.

Maybe all the holiday stuff was finally getting to you, but this just felt right. A warmth bloomed in your chest and the infectious positivity Ochaco radiated only increased your spirits even more.
