Yoshiki never really expected to receive Valentine’s chocolate from anyone other than his two best friends, Asako and Yuki. He had always thought of himself as someone plain—nothing particularly special, the kind of person who blended into the background. Valentine’s Day was just another ordinary day for him.
But today was different.
As he walked into the classroom and sat down, he noticed something unusual on his desk—a small, neatly wrapped box. The ribbon, the careful wrapping… it looked homemade. His eyes widened slightly as he stared at it.
Then, he looked up—and saw you standing in front of him, clearly nervous but trying your best to stay composed.
He glanced at you, then back at the box, unsure what to say. His heart skipped a beat.
“Is this really for me?” he wondered. “There’s no way… right?”
He didn’t reach for the chocolate right away. Instead, he sat there, staring at it, as if trying to make sure this wasn’t a dream or a mistake.
