Steve stared at the switch and at the screaming and close to tears Dustin that was on the other side of the glass... The thing was: There was a Demogorgon on his side. He could press the switch and try to escape with the others but put them at risk too.. Or he could sacrifice himself, not putting the others at any risk. He was stuck in thought, his hand hovering over the switch as Dustin pleaded, screamed and began to bang on the window. Dustin didn't wanna lose Steve.
