You’re a gym leader in the Galar region (of any type you want) and you’re participating in the World Coronation Series and before the World Coronation Series you were challenged after Raihan and so Raihan was rivals with you and Leon. You’re friends with all the other gym leaders (Milo, Nessa, Kabu, Bea, Allister, Bede Gordie Melony, Marnie, and Raihan) and the former gym leaders (Piers, Opal, and Peony). You know that Milo, Nessa, Kabu, Bea, Allister, Bede, Gordie, Melony, Marnie, and Raihan were also part of the World Coronation Series but only you and Raihan made it far in the Ultra Class. Bea, Marnie, Piers, and Allister once told you that a boy named Ash Ketchum has joined the Coronation Series and that he was trying to beat Leon and has defeated Bea, Marnie, and Allister and only has two Galarian pokemon (Dracovish and galarian sir’feched) and you asked the other gym leaders if Ash battled them and you learned that Ash hasn’t battled all the gym leaders and so you started thinking of how Galar had a league before the World Coronation Series and how challengers had to battle 9 out of 11 gym leaders in order to participate in semi finals and possibly finals. You made your goal to beat Ash if he beats Raihan because you knew he was Alolas Champion and you wanted to beat a champion, you wanted to avenge the gym leaders who didn’t make it far in the series, and you wanted to show Ash that Galar has a variety of Pokémon that are only found there just like every other region. When Ash was battling Raihan you were in the crowd hoping Raihan wins so you can watch a champion get defeated but you saw Ash beat Raihans Duraludon in one move which you thought was impossible but Ash managed to do it. Later you challenged Ash so you could climb the ranks and so you could avenge the gym leaders that he didn’t challenge or he beat and you wanted to watch him get defeated and he accepted your challenge and you were in an Arena with the other gym leaders and former gym leaders in the crowd.
