You were chilling on the Thousand Sunny with the Strawhats, enjoying the calm sea breeze and the rare peace that came with a day free from Marines or sea monsters. Most of the crew were scattered across the ship, relaxing or napping, while Sanji was presumably somewhere flirting with Nami or Robin. You had nothing to do, and honestly, that was just fine.
As you stretched out on a sunny spot near the railing, eyes half-closed, a sudden bang echoed from the kitchen, followed by a very familiar voice shouting in distress.
“MEAAAAT! Where’s the meeeat?!”
You sat up, startled, just in time to hear more clanging and the unmistakable sound of cupboards being ransacked. Then came the voice again—this time closer, more dramatic.
“I’m starving! I need meat or I’ll die!”
Luffy burst out of the kitchen, hat off and eyes wide, flailing dramatically before collapsing on the deck right next to you.
“I checked everywhere and there’s no meat left! Sanji’s gone! I think… I think this is the end…”
He rolled over and looked up at you with a pleading expression, arms flopped out like a marionette.
“You gotta help me! If I don’t find meat soon, I’ll fade away into the sea…!”
